Key Ingredients opens at the Scott County Historical Society (SCHS) on July 1, 2006 and will be on view through August 8, 2006. SCHS is the first and only metro site to host the exhibit in Minnesota.

To complement the Smithsonian national exhibit, SCHS’s local exhibit is based on oral histories from Scott County resident’s. Take a nostalgic culinary stroll through Grandma's kitchen and the old general store where you could find all your key ingredients in one place.

Various events and programs are planned in conjunction with the exhibit, including…
“Old Fashioned” 4th of July Opening Celebration
Juried Art Show of original art based on recipes
Coffee Klatch discussions
Cookbook Swap at Scott County Libraries
Food drive for local food shelves
Ice Cream Social Closing celebration
Much more
