Macomb will welcome Key Ingredients on September 13 and run through October 24 at Western Illinois Museum, 201 South Lafayette in Macomb, Illinois. In addition to Key Ingredients, the Museum collection of salt/pepper shakers, kitchen equipment, and early utensils will also be on display.
Macomb residents will have a history of cookbooks to enhance the display as well. An oral history video will make its debut during the Key Ingredients exhibit. Compiled of footage from individuals, the video will cover memories of butchering, canning, and feeding the family. Western Illinois Museum is open from 10 to 4 Tuesdays thru Saturdays.
